May 3, 2021 #4505556Working on the weekend unpaid to catch up on work I’m behind onJohn H HolidayParticipantMay 3, 2021
Should I be doing this? I work hard during the workday but I can’t seem to keep up.
My manager is on me about being behind on a few things and I feel like my job is on the line.
I feel like if I can get all my admin work done over the weekend, then I’ll be much more on the ball during the following week. I think if my boss see’s that I’m editing documents over the weekend though IDK if that will reflect poorly.

Is everyone else on your team (most importantly the people at the top of the leader board) working their weekends too?
If not then I think you’re already on the right path with the wording of your question that you know you could be more efficient during your work week and get everything wrapped up there.
Are you procrastinating on doing your admin or paperwork or do you physically not have enough time Mon-Fri to get it done?

Unless you’re making a crap load of mulah right now, don’t work longer hours to appease a manager that is pushing you too hard anyway.
