May 20, 2023 #9011717What is my next step?Frances PruittParticipantMay 20, 2023
I’m currently selling high deal size (250-600k) plant equipment but I’m looking for a change.
I have 4 years of experience in this space and then 15 years of experience in the industry as a product manager prior.
Software sales seems the hot space right now but I don’t think that is for me. I like meeting with people in person and putting together engineering plans.
The money is great but I also like seeing the projects physically come to completion.
Any thoughts?

The space has essentially zero barrier to entry and so it’s become very commoditised.
No sure if you have any moral objections but with the Ukraine conflict and general global tensions, sellers in the capital military equipment are making insane money.
Other than that, medical devices can be high deal size, require face-to-face meetings to secure deals and are an interesting market to work in.

What is the best segment of medical devices to look at? The options seem endless!
