Jun 28, 2023 #9512466We’re hiring an SDR for the first timeJonathan WilfrithParticipantJun 28, 2023
I convinced my leadership team to hire an SDR to help me with day to day prospecting. I’m hoping this new hire will be able to qualify prospects and do the initial outreach (via my cadence, via Will’s awesome training) for me. Is there anything I need to know before we start to move through the hiring process?

Do you really need to hire someone? Can you not use more automation with your cadence to replace yourself?
I think people hire entry level roles like a typical SDR without thinking about the time it takes to manage a person. The offset in productivity might not be as big when you consider all the additional time it takes to train, onboard, manage and even just build a relationship with new team members.
