    Value Statement

    Hey Guys,

I’ve been working on some persona based value statements that we can weave in to some new outbound sequences.

Do we think these have the wow factor, or are they just another ‘me too’?

Version 1 – Our cloud software helps finance directors, who want to eliminate risk, by reducing human error and increasing the speed and accuracy of reporting. We’re different as we don’t like overcomplicating things, and will only recommend a solution if we think it’s a good fit.

Version 2 – Our cloud software helps finance directors, who want to drive revenue, by reducing unnecessary expenses and increasing the quality of insight they get from their data. We’re different as we don’t like overcomplicating things, and will only recommend a solution if we think it’s a good fit.

Version 3 – Our cloud software helps finance directors, who want to grow with a lean time, using AI to eliminate manual tasks whilst increasing reporting speed & accuracy. We’re different as we don’t like overcomplicating things, and will only recommend a solution if we think it’s a good fit.

    Thoughts?

I don’t think the difference is strong is here. Why would they believe that you’ll only offer a solution if they’re a good fit? That an opinion, it’s not measurable.

“Reducing” and “increasing” – I’d focus on one or the other.

This one is the best. I’d still get rid of as many words as you can –

“Finance directors use our AI tool to eliminate their most boring manual tasks. We increase reporting speed and accuracy whilst making everything simpler.”

Look at our value prop –

“Find and close more outbound leads in the next 30 days” how? “with simple selling frameworks and mentoring”.

I agree with Will in that your VS need to be shorter, tighter and more punchy.

Imagine saying your examples to a buyer in real life. It would sound weird.
