Value of Professional Certifications (project management, sales, etc.)
Hello fellow sales nation,
I was wondering how would y’all value a newcomer to sales with a professional certification in project management (PMI, Agile)? Would it actually mean anything or is it better off for me to just study sales techniques instead? Thank you!
Hey Lauren. It’s a difficult one and it really depends on the manager that you’re trying to impress.
A “Salesman.org certification” is something that I’ve pondered about including in our training but I’m not really sure what the value is in the real world.
Maybe someone in a sales leadership role can jump in and share their thoughts.

Thanks for the feedback Michael. This is something that we could do. I’ll gather more feedback on it.
I’m in on this Will! For your perspective it’d add loads of social proof to the Salesman Org brand having certs all over your customers linkedin pages!
