Nov 26, 2021 #5509181The difference selling between a smaller business owner and a sales proJacky BroadbentParticipantNov 26, 2021
Hey all!
My “side hustle” so to speak, is starting to take off. All the sales so far have come from word of mouth but as I already work in sales I’m thinking about putting in the time to proactively do some prospecting for new business.
My question, for Will in particular as I know you’re in this boat, how does selling differ for small business owners (who eat what they kill literally!!!) versus a corporate gig?

No base salary, no “try again next quarter” when you start up for yourself :).
Obviously there comes other freedoms from not having a boss too. But make sure you’re comfortable with uncertainty if you decide to take your side-hustle more seriously.
Drop me an email if you want to jump on a call and run through your business as it stands.
