Oct 17, 2023 #9516047Starter Cadence Email ReviewEshan SharmaParticipantOct 17, 2023
Hi Will. Please see below the email templates for my first cadence. Would love your thoughts on were it could be improved. Thanks in advance- Arnav
Day 1: Too busy?
Subject: [NAME]-too busy?
Hi [NAME],
Are you too busy to manage the ongoing cleaning of your premises. Have the standards fallen as a result?
We help operations managers increase their productivity by freeing them from office cleaning duties.
We carry out regular inspections and create a simple report based on the findings to ensure that the standards are maintained without you having to be intimately involved.
Would it make sense to book a site visit to learn about other ways that we manage your cleaning to save you time?
Day 3: Complaints
Subject: [NAME] complaint
Hi [NAME],
Have you received complaints from your staff or customers about how clean your premises are?
We use multiple methods to ensure that your premises are always clean, so you never have to face a complaint email again.
Would it make sense to book a quick site visit to learn about the ways we ensure your premises stay pristine?
Day 5: Lack of communication
Subject: Must have missed you!
Hi [NAME],
I gave you a quick call but I must have missed you. That is actually why I am reaching out.
Do you struggle to get in contact with your existing cleaning company?
At [COMPANY], we prioritize communication so you can always get a hold of your dedicated Area Manager. No more wasting time trying to get a hold of your cleaning contractor.
Would it make sense to have a quick call to learn how else we can save you time?
Day 8: Price increases
Subject: [NAME] worth it?
Hi [NAME],
Has your cleaning company increased their prices but not increased the service?
We find that year on year cleaning companies increase their prices but don’t change a single thing about the service. It just costs you more!
Open to learning how much we would charge for an equivalent service?
Day 12: Cleaner not showing up
Subject: [NAME]- no show?
Has your cleaner not showed up recently and the cleaning company not said anything?
We have found that cleaning companies don’t even know if a clean has been complete. We implement a time and attendance system to all of our contracts to ensure that your clean is complete. This way you know exactly where your money is going.
Open to learning a few more ways that we ensure that your clean is always done?
Day 25: Breakup email
Subject: [NAME]- wrong time?
Hi [NAME],
It seems we haven’t managed to connect.
It doesn’t look like we are a good fit for your right now. Mind if I follow this up in a few months?

This line is a bit of a smack in the face for the prospect. You’re basically telling them that they’re not capable of doing their job and so you’re going to swoop in and save the day.
This might be accurate… but remember you’re emailing a person and people get emotional easily.
Perhaps something softer –
“It’s though to keep high cleaning standards when managing things on your own. I hear that all the time from my clients.”
I’d add a bit of humor to this line –
We help operations managers increase their productivity by freeing them from office cleaning duties.
“We help operations managers increase their productivity (and levels of sanity) by freeing them from office cleaning duties.”
Keep the call to action as specific as possible.
Would it make sense to book a site visit to learn about other ways that we manage your cleaning to save you time?
“Would it make sense to arrange a site visit so I can explain how it works?”

I think this one is a little too on the nose –
Have you received complaints from your staff or customers about how clean your premises are?
Perhaps –
“I was working with a [JOB TITLE SAME AS PROSPECT] this week and he’s received a few complains from customers about his buildings cleanliness.
He was struggling to get in contact with his cleaning agency to get it resolved. “

Good email.
Day 8
Can you give a specific number?
“Last year cleaning companies increased their prices by 34% on average (but didn’t change a single thing about their service). This is shocking to me.
Day 9
The wording on this one is a little off –
Has your cleaner not showed up recently and the cleaning company not said anything? We have found that cleaning companies don’t even know if a clean has been complete. We implement a time and attendance system to all of our contracts to ensure that your clean is complete. This way you know exactly where your money is going.
“Suffered from ‘no-shows’ from cleaners? With no feedback from the cleaning agency?
It’s way too common these days.
We have found that most cleaning companies don’t even know if a clean has been complete.
We do things differently by implementing a time and attendance system to ensure that your clean is complete. This way you know exactly where your money is going.”

Good email.
Notes
Great job Arnav! You’ve grasped the pains that your buyers are going through and I think you’ve written some decent emails there that tell the story of that pain and give a potential solution.
Lets get this cadence started and monitor what messages get responses. We can then lean into those specific emails.
