Nov 11, 2022 #7510299Scheduling MeetingsEli AParticipantNov 11, 2022
Hi Will,
What is the best way to schedule a meeting after a prospect decides to meet with you?
-Just shoot straight? “How does this Tuesday at 11am work? ” (is this low percentage because its too specific and they might say no? )
-“How does your calendar look”? (is this too open ended, they might choose a day that is too far out and the deal gets cold?)
-“Would (x soonest day) or (soonest day) work better for you?” (Providing Illusion of choice for ASAP days to meet with prospects? #Darkarts lol)
Thoughts? What’s the data on this? Tried looking but couldn’t find anything online.
Thank you,
Liam

As you know, we’re running some experiments behind the scenes but preliminary –
Cold emails
Using logical closes and also super soft closes across a cadence are working well.
– Does it make sense to jump on a quick call?
– Would you like me to share some more thoughts?Warm emails
Always try and book the next meeting on the call you’re on. Failing that, give them a reason for the meeting.
– If I can get X over to you on Monday morning, would it make sense to jump on a quick call Monday afternoon to run through it?
– You said it made sense to book in a quick call. Would Wednesday work for you?Nov 15, 2022 #7510305Eli AParticipantNov 15, 2022Eli A Nov 15, 2022Hi Will,
Thank you, makes a lot of sense.
Is this different when it is a live cold call and you are trying to set up a meeting for a discovery call?
That’s what I meant to say in my original question, left the call part out by accident.
I guess I’m just trying to troubleshoot the hassle of making our calendars fit to ASAP date when I’m live on the phone with them.
Thanks,
Liam

I understand.
For a cold call – Can we connect later this afternoon or tomorrow morning?
Keep the lead HOT whilst not being pushy. If they truly won’t put 15 minutes in the diary in the next couple of days, they’re probably not going to show up to your meeting anyway.
