    Only 20-25% of reps hit quota at my company. Is that normal?

    Total of around 75 reps + currently onboarding more. What is a “good” percentage of reps hitting quota at a company?

    I’m contemplating a change.

    That’s not too far off on average.

    “hitting quota” is a difficult metric to go against as it depends on lots of stuff. But in a decently ran company, leadership will aim for 25% high performers, 50% safe bets, 25% need improvement.

    From what I gather it’s about +-45% hit quota in the US. Something that I found very helpful is this website.

    This website organizes AE and BDR submitted comps and quota attainment.

    I hope that helps and good luck!

    What a cool site! How much more accurate, if at all, is it to glass door? That place is a cesspool.

    @Lauren,

    It’s user-submitted and I have found that Glassdoor’s wages can be off, also on GD it is difficult to figure out base + comm sometimes, you have to click into the role.

    Through trial and error, I always ask recruiters for the Quota, avg deal size, deal cycle (3 months, 6 months etc) and how many reps hit quota in the last 2 quarters. THEN DO I ASK the base/OTE pay band (range). I never say what I make (in California it’s illegal to ask me) and I wait for them to answer me. Sometimes they ask where I need to be, and I ask again, what are you paying?
