Subject – Get an extra day a month

    Hi xxx,

I am working with a number of organisations helping them understand the technology that is available to them and how they can use it to streamline the way they work.

I recently worked with a similar organisation to streamline their processes & they were able to save 8 hours a month freeing up their team to work on other tasks.

Would it make sense to jump on a quick call to find out more?

    Thanks,

    Jake Gardner

    Hi xxx,

I tried to call but was unable to reach you.

I thought I would shoot through this case study that shows what we were able to help Kyeema achieve.

I will give you a call later in the week.

    Thanks,

    Jake Gardner

Subject – Is there a better way to do this?

    Hi xxxx,

Ever looked at the tasks your team are doing and thought “surely there is a better way?” – Well maybe there is…

I help businesses get more out of their technology investments to save time, streamline business process and align technology to the business goals.

I am going to be in xxxxx area a bit over the coming weeks, would it make sense to schedule a 15 minute intro meeting?

    Thanks,

    Jake.

It didn’t paste well the first time – pasted text only the second time.

Love any feedback or critisim on the cadence above.

The person receiving these emails are going to be in small (under 10 – 250 staff and $500K to $15mil revenue) Non-profit organisations. Typical role will be either Executive Officer, Manager of Corporate Services or Finance Mangaer.

Hey Jake, I deleted the first post that was broken.

The first line is very “you” centric rather than focused on how you can help the prospect solve a problem.

I’d also add in a lot more high level personalization (job titles, company names etc) so it sound like you’re talking specifically to the prospect rather than a general avatar that they fall into.

    Hi xxx,

I help [JOB TITLE]  understand how to solve [PROBLEM] with technology they might not realise is available to them.

I recently worked with a [COMPANY NAME] to streamline their processes & they saved 8 hours a month from [SPECIFIC TIME SUCK].

Would it make sense to jump on a quick call to see if I can do the same for your team?

    Thanks,

In the first line, this is subtle, but the prospect doesn’t care what you tried. Tell them the result rather than the effort you put in.

For some prospects, sending them stuff they didn’t ask for can equate you to spam.

I’ve had good results by asking for permission to send over the case study rather than just attaching it blindly.

    Hi xxx,

I called but didn’t manage to speak with you.

I have a case study from [COMPANY] that explains [PROBLEM SOLVED THAT PROSPECT HAS].

Would it make sense for me to send over a copy?

Additionally, I will give you a call later in the week.

    Thanks,

    This is decent.

The only thing I’d look to add is the desire behind wanting to use technology to streamline.

For your ICP this is going to be make/save money.
