Mar 31, 2023 #8511066Make this 1st Step Email Less EducationalStuart SummersParticipantMar 31, 2023
Hi Will & Community,
think I’m on the right track with outreach around this specific topic, but just wondering how to make it shorter and probably less educational. Ie I’m probably over educating in the email.
Here’s the email;
Hi George,
I noticed you’re collecting google reviews. Are you running google ads as well?
Strangely google don’t classify their own reviews as “Verified”. That means it’s not possible to use those reviews to improve google ad performance.
By google ad performance we mean something called “Google Seller Rating”. This is the stars you see in google ads (not to be confused with stars in organic search).
Google have said that having stars in ads can improve Click through rate by on average 10% and reduce cost per click. But you need to collect reviews with a Google partner like Trustpilot.
Here’s a visual to explain better. Would you be open to a call to discuss further?
(I CAN’T PASTE AN IMAGE HERE, BUT THERE WOULD BE A GRAPHIC OF A GOOGLE SEARCH SHOWING THEM VISUALLY WHAT I’VE EXPLAINED ABOVE)
Kind Regards,

Hi NAME,
I noticed you’re collecting Google reviews and running Google ads.
Weirdly, Google don’t classify their own reviews as “Verified”. That means those reviews don’t improve ad performance.
Would it be useful if I quickly explained how to improve your “Google Seller Rating” to get those starts that do appear in ads?
PS – Google says this improves CTR by 10% on average.
Kind Regards,
