I’m reaching out to a high level security leader in a regulated industry. She focuses on “insider risk” and counterintelligence. Her email in sales navigator is in accurate, so I need to connect with her and she’s 3rd degree (nobody in common). Thoughts on this connection message?

If your message is for a connection request, it should be along the lines of –
Hi NAME, I work for Gartner in your vertical. It’d be great to connect so I can follow the insights your sharing about our industry.
If you’ve already connected and you’re sending a LinkedIn message to pitch a meeting, it should be much softer.
Think of LinkedIn as a text message exchange, rather than a more “formal” email.
Something like –
Quick question: Are you building out a zero trust architecture at the moment?
