Thanks for setting this up, really impressed. I beleive the search feature is not working so posting this question, do point me to an earlier response if that exists
Just started my own consulting business, have a firms ICP and leads list but struggling with what next. Most of the LI cold outreach with contextual messages such as “i read this about you” or ” you mentioned about that” is not yielding connections despite my profile being relatively strong.
Do we do cold email but you mentioned its 1% hit? How do I get in front of my ICP without being spammy and diluting time spent in researching each prospect?

The SalesSearch tool only works for Salesman.com Academy members. I should probably hide the search box for everyone else to stop any confusion.

Have you read the cadence section of Selling Made Simple?

Try and start a conversation on LinkedIn rather than using an “email style” message.

- I work in the same space. Ever thought about Y?

That is the industry standard. People in the Academy program (the only other metrics I have to give you) are getting 15-25% meeting booking rate from cold outreach (full sales cadence, not just cold email).
How do I get in front of my ICP without being spammy and diluting time spent in researching each prospect?

One qk qn, we set up hubspot for cold emails but its not allowed and they dont reccomend it. Obviosuly referrals, SEO is a long game. This is a difficult path, to cold email or not even to find if there is an opportunity(aka right time) vs trying to sell. Any reactions?

HubSpot allow cold emails from sales people to other businesses.
If you’re talking about spammy, non specific, marketing emails then that’s a different thing.

Referrals don’t have to be a long game. Do you have paying customers currently?

SEO is dying a death with chat AI taking over information gathering.
This is a difficult path, to cold email or not even to find if there is an opportunity(aka right time) vs trying to sell. Any reactions?
If it was easy, everyone would do it and then it would become instantly difficult.
If you don’t ask, you don’t know if there is an opportunity.
I think you need to work backwards from what you want and then see if you’re willing to put in the work to achieve it.
1m bonus > X deals closed > Y meetings > Z prospects > G cold outreach

The reason for this email is that we partner with …leaders in non-profits (Association of American Medical Colleges, Water Environment Federation, Elizabeth ) in <product, offerings>. Are there any <context> challenges that we can help in anyway?
I get your point on SEO, agree 100% but have to create some inbound funnel on the web. Referrals are maxed out, we have asked everyone one of our clients and do so softly ever so often. I may have misrepresented about the hustle and grind, you can see above the graft and grind- the point was that the reply rate after a few tries and with LinkedIn(above ave social selling score) its 5%.

This is low effort. Prospects don’t have the time to tell you their challendges.
You need to be bold, make a hypothesis of what the prospect is struggling with and then present them an opportunity to resolve the issue.
For example –
Hi NAME,
Reps low on motivation coming into Christmas?
I help B2B salespeople find and close more deals, within the first 30 days, guaranteed.
