Apr 21, 2023 #9011237How to respond to this email? Follow up email (Back hander, volley or forehand?)Avtar CheemaParticipantApr 21, 2023
Will I got the reply below from a prospect off of my 1st email. I’ve never spoken to the guy and he gave me so much info, whats the best way to respond?

Hi Avtar,
I reviewed this heavily at our last server storage renewal. My tests show with the size of our internal design files, external storage couldn’t provide us with the same speed as I could give our users considering we had to implement a 10gb backbone in our office over 7yrs ago. When remote I made us out own cloud with Triofox and this give us good performance with a Triofox server both in the UK and the CA locations but multiple servers cost no extra as the cost by per user.
New review point is about 18 months away. With my eye on Egnyte currently for that point. My IT budget has been used for now on upgraded security.
Kind Regards,

Hey RoXX,
Just noticed that your teams collaborate, to deliver impressive design projects in the UK, North America and the Middle East.
Architects and Engineers often suffer from LAN/WAN bottlenecks, causing major project delays.
We recently helped Harry Dobbs Design increase their network performance by 60%, enabling them to better collaborate across locations.
Would it make sense to jump on a quick call to see if we can do the same for you?
Thank you,
Avtar

With specific case, I would play into their obviously inflated ego and also lean into the curiosity loop.

Hi NAME,
It sounds like you’ve got a great system in place.
I might not be able to help, but I have worked with a client similar to how you’re set up.
We made a couple of subtle changes that had a decent impact.
Would it be worth a quick 10 minute call to see if you’re already implementing them?
Avtar
