Does anyone get depressed about the amount of cash that goes to taxes?
I’m over target this year and things are going great. I should make around $500k this year which is easily my best year in software sales yet.
Over half of it is going to be taken by provincial and federal gov, to be spent in ways that benefit others more than myself.
How is that fair?
Nothing I can do about it but just wanted to rant!
You could always move to Dubai :D…
The first thing is – Are you being efficient with your taxes? It’s more difficult as a salaried employee VS a business owner but there are savings to be made.
Next – Would your town/city, company, market etc exist without the government? Probably not.
The goal moving forward should be to earn $1m next year so after you’ve paid your taxes, it’d be like living this year tax free.
