Feb 25, 2022 #6509714Connecting on linked inSam RandazzoParticipantFeb 25, 2022
Hey Will I am going through the Cadences worksheet and I was looking at your linkedin connection message and I had a question
Hi [name], I saw that we’re both connected with [connection’s name]. Nice to “meet” you! I thought you might be interested in some of the work I’m doing with [connection’s name], and it’d be great to connect. Take care and looking forward to hearing from you!
I am starting a new job in a new industry and I will have to build up my connections.
If I am currently not connected with a lot of people on linkedin what is another message that would be good to send ?
Also do you have recommendations on how to add more people fast? Would it be a good idea to add people on linkedin that my company is already working with?

The connection limits have dropped dramatically in the past few months. Experiment, but you’ll have to likely stay within 100 new requests a week.
First, try 50 connections without a message and track your results. You then have a benchmark as to if your messaging is working.
Then you could try –
“Hi, I see you’re an [INDUSTRY] veteran. I’d love to connect, follow your posts and add value where I can as I start to build up some speed in the space”.
