Good morning, It’s Greg Petersen from Insight Ag Marketing. Today, I’m cleaning up my records and expanding my grain marketing business. Could I grab 60 seconds?• Are you still grain farming?
My records indicate that I should be talking to__________ is that correct?Scenario 1: “That’s me.” — Now you can move on to the next step
Scenario 2: “I’m retired.” — Now I need to get in touch with Successor.
“Ok thanks. Could you connect me with ___________? Can I tell them that you referred me?”Break
• “OK great, how are you marketing your grain this year?”
• “Got it. | And how is your grain marketing strategy working for you so far?”Scenario 1: “Not great. We’re having a problem with [current problem].”
Scenario 2: “Fine. I think we’re all set, thanks.”When you ask how their current solution is doing, pause and shut up.
Value
Just so you know, I help grain farmers like yourself who want to improve their grain marketing strategies. Because farmers deserve to get top dollar for their grain, but they get lost and make substandard decisions. It’s my mission to help every farmer enjoy farming again.Tie In
Scenario 1: “It seems like you’re not happy with your current grain marketing strategy.
Would it make sense to see if I can solve this problem for you?”Scenario 2: “Would it make sense to see if I can turbo charge your grain marketing strategy so you can make more money and enjoy farming?”

“Ok Great, it looks like I might be able to help. Does it make sense to jump on a quick 10-minute call tomorrow to discuss?”

I don’t think you need this section. Will talks about the theory about asking “Hi, are you the person who deals with…” being set up like an internal call from a colleague, rather than an external call from a salesperson.
• “OK great, how are you marketing your grain this year?”
Is this specific enough for your target market? I’m not really sure what you’re selling so I can’t comment too much further.
The rest of it looks cool!
