May 20, 2022 #6509954Camera set up for remote sellingJan Oda-BiroParticipantMay 20, 2022
I just watched Will’s last video on first impressions and he said that camera and lighting is important.
What is everyone doing on this front?
I’ve been recording Loom messages for prospecting and Zoom calls for meetings in my kitchen with no lighting and my build in webcam.
Do I need to upgrade?

I got a Logitech Litra Glow and it really makes a difference as the light is pointing at my face rather than downward where it makes me look like I’ve big bags under my eyes lol

I bought this and although it looks stupid (I look like a YouTuber doing make up reviews) it does make a difference to the perceived quality of my calls.

Same with the lighting. A couple of lights on your desk make a big difference too.
If I was selling to scrappy small business owners, I wouldn’t bother.
If I was selling to C-suite in the enterprise or the financial industry, I’d make sure my set up was legit.
