    Authority Story

    Hello Everyone and Happy Holidays!

I just finished writing my authority story and wanted to share it with the group and see what will and everyone thought,

I love constructive criticism, so if you think it will help, let me know.

    Thanks,

    My story
I worked as a manager at a gym and was content selling personal training. I was great at speaking with people and had the skills to do very well. I was passionate because it put me in a position to help people become the best version of themselves.
I started to feel I was being complacent. I knew I could help people more than just with their physical lives. I wanted to help people achieve their life goals. I wanted to help people build something that would change their lives. So I was really interested in business growth through marketing to help people reach their goals.
I was very successful selling personal training, and I felt comfortable there. I wanted to try bigger and better things, but I was scared to give up a good thing.
Then the pandemic hit, and I was laid off for six months; it made me realize life was short, and you have to be willing to try. So I called up my first boss, who owned over 25 supplement stores, and asked him what I needed to do to help me and others achieve the goals?
I applied for a job at a digital marketing firm; I had no marketing or b2b experience. So I prepared for the interviews as much as possible, and against all odds, I convinced them to give me a chance, and I have never looked back.
Switching careers from the health and wellness industry to working at home full time in digital marketing was a huge challenge. It was like speaking English my whole life than switching to Russian. But I did it and started to become fluent.
Learning all of this taught me that one thing you need in your product, your business, and, most importantly, yourself is to have faith. You have to believe that it will happen and make every decision based on that.
The most challenging thing we face is changing technologies in advertising, how to stay relevant, and how to look at marketing from a birds-eye view. So how does your marketing work together to create a simple customer journey that maximizes returns?
What I have learned over and over is that if you are a business with a good idea and the commitment to do what it takes to grow, then the marketing will be easy. I know that sounds too simple, but if you have the foundation, the marketing can be built on top.
The next step is to create a way for my clients to have a clear path to success and feel as though there is control of their destiny in the marketing world.

This is great! Leaning into my creative writing background I’d suggest trying to rework it so all the sentences don’t start with “I”.

So rather than “I worked as a manager…” you could do “The story started with a management role…”.
