Took Will’s advice on not being afraid to talk about money. I submitted a quote where we went in very aggressively (need to run out a competitor). Texted the customer 4 hours after the quote was submitted to see if the price was acceptable. Customer replied back “everything looks good”. I don’t have a PO yet, but I think we’re at 75% certainty.

What you thought was “aggressive” was the market rate.
As long as you don’t blow the deal by being ridiculous, you can always negotiate the price/offer downwards.
