my name is Laura Madewell and I’ve popped you a couple of emails recently.
I know it seems like you have to introduce yourself but try not doing it and see what happens.
Usually, you introduce yourself and the prospect immediately tries to get rid of you.
If you start with “hey, are you the person who deals with X…” then you’re in a conversation by the time the introductions are being made.
