Do you also advise to call people before emailing/texting? This scenario is for leads 60 days after a strategy session.

If they pick up the phone, then yes. If they don’t pick up the phone, then we should work out why.

Your email is very “you” centric. This makes it sound salesy and so it’s not very inviting for someone to connect with you.

Something like this would likely work better –


X weeks ago we spoke but didn’t manage to move forward.

There’s been a few things change in Y space since we spoke.

Would it make sense to jump on a quick call to see if we can now help with Z?


The biggest thing though is that there has been several months of no contact.
