I’ve experimented with AirPods on my MacBook Air. The best combination I’ve found is the AirPods for audio only and then using the microphone from the MacBook.
If you use the AirPods for both audio and microphone they go into a different bluetooth mode and it doesn’t sound as good on the other end of the call.
I recorded some Zoom calls both ways around and compared them. It’s probably not a deal breaker but with my accent, anything I can do to make my voice more legible helps.
Interesting. I have noticed on the coaching calls that I can sometimes sound crappy and everything is being recorded local at my end too! I’ll take a look into this.
