I’d still make it simpler to understand and read.
Email this email to yourself, open and read it from your phone. Can you skim it and understand what you’re offering?
Some pointers –
Company X are an end to end cyber security specialist that provides Managed Security, Cyber Risk & Assurance Services, Cyber Security Testing and Best in Class and Disruptive Technology.
I don’t care about your company. I care about solving a problem that I have.
Skip that line.
You need to grab attention in the first line and customize it to the prospect so they know you’re not just randomly spamming them.
We help CISOs and information security executives who want to establish the correct security and data governance practices within their organisation, and enable the capabilities for a scalable low-risk business operations framework.
Split your emails so you’re only addressing CISO’s OR information security experts. Otherwise it looks like you’re just spamming.
I’m not sure if I’d say “who want to establish CORRECT…” as you’re basically telling the person you’re emailing that they’re an idiot and are doing things incorrectly right now (even though they might be).
By offering a complete end to end portfolio of cyber security solutions and services, we help you swiftly identify the risks your organisation faces, reduce the complexity in your environment and streamline security systems and business processes.
Your prospect doesn’t want to hear that you offer a catalogue of services. They want you to TELL THEM the solution to their problem.
Only when you tell them what the issue is and how to fix it will they get on a call to discuss implementing the fix.
This enables your organisation to leverage security and introduce competitive advantage into your operating model, whilst managing the imbalance in need and affordability.
To much stuff.
Does it make sense to arrange an introductory call?
They don’t want an introductory call. They want a call where you fix their issues. They’re busy. They don’t have time for making friends.
If you haven’t already, complete the value prop and cold outreach frameworks. They will solve these issues for you.
The first email in your cadence should look something like this –
Hi X,
We work with your biggest competitor Y.
I just helped their CISO NAME identify a real security risk they were facing.
We solved it with Z tool in 12 hours. Their system is now less complex and more secure for the next attack.
Does it make sense to jump on a quick call to see if we can do the same for you?
Thanks,
Will
